We are extremely proud that Inspire Catering’s very own Chef Director – David Hunt was made a Fellow of the Master Chefs of Great Britain yesterday (13 Nov 2017) at the Annual MCGB Lunch held at Gleneagles Hotel.
Having been a Member of this prestigious association for many years, this is an amazing accolade for David to receive from his peers – the MCGB being the most elite group of culinary masters across the hospitality industry in the UK.
The Master Chefs of Great Britain formed in 1980, seeks to promote all that is best about British cuisine and supports and encourages the use of fresh, quality local ingredients sourced from small producers across the country as well as providing high quality, classical training to young chefs.
Much of David’s time is spent developing and nurturing the chef talent we have in the Inspire business and across our industry as well as continually championing the use of Scottish and British produce, so it is particularly apt that he has received this recognition.
David Pease, Owner of Inspire said: ‘For those who know David, they will agree there are few as deserving as him of this recognition! David is at the pinnacle of his career – the awards he has won, the success he has achieved, along with being a tremendous ambassador for the industry as a whole. All of us at Inspire are hugely proud of him – he is an inspiration to us all’!
