Kevin Simpson

Managing Director

Kevin has an exemplary track record as both a Chef and Manager in the hospitality and contract catering sectors. His energy, drive and tenacity mean he is a shrewd operator! Commercially astute and committed to doing the best job possible, he ensures Inspire always delivers!

As a natural leader of people, Kevin pro-actively supports the Inspire team on a day to day basis. His excellent client relationships are as a result of a ‘can do’ approach and he works hard to motivate and encourage the onsite teams to always go that extra mile.

Paul Ferguson

Operations Manager

Paul joined Inspire in 2009 as a Catering Operations Manager, before progressing to the wider role of Operations Support Manager and now Operations Manager in our northern region.   His previous extensive experience in the catering industry, combined with his in depth knowledge of Inspire have been invaluable in developing strong relationships with our clients and key improvements across our contracts with continual development and innovation always being a key focus.

Paul is also Inspire Catering’s Charity Champion for 2020.  This is part of an overall CH&Co bid to raise £250,000 for the Prince’s Trust, of which Inspire Catering/CH&Co Scotland’s target is £25,000. The Prince’s Trust is a charity in the United Kingdom founded in 1976 by Charles, Prince of Wales to help vulnerable young people get their lives on track.

Wiktoria Grabowska

Operations Support Manager

Wiktoria joined Inspire in 2017 as Operations Support Manager, with a wealth of experience in the catering industry working for high profile, multi-site clients.

Since joining Inspire, Wiktoria has been supporting our contracts and now, in her role as Operations Manager, has assumed management responsibility of both Education and B&I contracts in the central belt. Wiktoria’s experience and exceptional work ethic provide the perfect platform to deliver excellent performance for our clients, driving growth and continued improvements across our business.

David Hunt

Chef Director MCGB

David is an award-winning Head Chef in his own right, having excelled in many teams within the catering industry over the last 3 decades. Having been Team Manager for The Senior Scottish Culinary Team for a number of years and now on the Board of the Federation of Chefs in Scotland, David leans on these experiences to bring top drawer innovation to Inspire’s food services every single day.

David is intrinsically focused on sourcing and serving the best quality, locally produced food possible to ensure we consistently exceed our customers’ expectations. He is responsible for and is the driving force behind Inspire’s Healthy Living Award Accreditation and Membership of The Scotch Beef Club.

David’s nurturing and enthusiastic nature allows him to inspire ‘food-iness’ within the business every single day and he leads our craft teams in creating imaginative and delicious menu choices with something for everyone.

Denise Coulter

Quality & Training Manager

Denise’s bubbly and charismatic personality make her an ideal trainer! A real people person who truly has Inspire’s core values at the heart of everything she does. She is a great advocate of developing and motivating our people and brings out the best in everyone.

Alongside Kevin, she implements all legislative, compliance and operating standards ensuring we are offering the best quality operational facility.

With many years’ experience in the catering and hospitality industry, Denise has built up a wealth of operational and training knowledge and in addition to ensuring all legal, business and developmental training is carried out on site, Denise oversees and manages the delivery of all training. She also carries out regular audit reviews for service development and quality assurance purposes.

Willie Pike, MBE

Executive Development Chef

As a Chef, Willie has an extensive and remarkable CV with vast experience in the Hospitality Industry. He spent nearly 10 years as a chef lecturer and senior lecturer in food production and associated studies at Glasgow College of Food Technology training the industry’s future chefs. He has also developed specialist skills in patisserie, pulled and blown sugar and chocolate.

Willie’s reputation and talent has earned him countless culinary awards over the years, perhaps most notably (in amongst gold medals at the Culinary Olympics), he won the coveted ‘Red Jacket’ from the Craft Guild of Chefs as the Best Competition Chef in Britain in 1998, was the first recipient of the ‘Fellowship of the Master Chefs of Great Britain’ in 2003, Catering in Scotland (C.I.S) Chef of the Year Award in 2006 and the Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Award in 2007.

Willie was also the pioneer behind The Scottish Chefs Conference inception in 2006 with the objective of encouraging and motivating student chefs to look at the hospitality industry as a true and rewarding vocation.

Alongside David Hunt our Chef Director, Willie continues to inspire through working with our own craft teams and developing our in-house talent. He also is involved in creating new, innovative food concepts and ideas and continues to champion culinary excellence within our industry here in Scotland.
