Inspire celebrated 10 wonderful years in the catering industry on Saturday 2 June. But that date also holds significant relevance for us as it marks a decade to the day that we served our first lunch in our first ever contract (at RelyOn Nutec in Aberdeen) and also recruited our first ever Inspire employee, Alan Livingston.

Alan, who has been our Chef Manager at RelyOn Nutec (previously Falck Nutec) since Inspire’s inception had this to say: ‘My 10 years working with Inspire Catering have made me feel very lucky. It’s a real honour to be part of such a great company, having been here right from the start – indeed the first recruited employee!

It’s been great to see how the company has grown over the last ten years, seeing all of the hard work from Lorna, David and the management team that has made the company as successful as it is today.

I’m also really proud of our small team here at RelyOn Nutec who deliver a first-class service and always aim to keep our clients and customers happy’.

Last week staff at RelyOn Nutec enjoyed a delicious selection of 10-year celebratory cookies, cakes and fruit baskets while Alan was presented with a gift for his service to the company.

RelyOn Nutec Operations Manager, Catherine Liebnitz said: ‘I just want to pass on my thanks to the whole inspire team for the effort that was put into the lovely cakes we enjoyed last week. They went down an absolute treat at all locations, so thank you! I’ve had the honour of working with Inspire for the last 10 years – they have a great team and I look forward to working with them for another 10 years.
