We are delighted to announce that Lindsay Prior, our Head Chef at Wood Group in Aberdeen, has now become a member of The Master Chefs of Great Britain! Lindsay joined Inspire Catering in 2009 and we are extremely proud to share news of Lindsay’s achievement at this point in her career.
Lindsay has exemplary culinary skills and this, coupled with her varied experience means that her customers enjoy great quality and innovative food choices whilst at work every day. She always stays abreast of industry trends and along with her love of global food influences, this means she offers menus with something for everyone featuring a blend of staple and traditional favourites along with some more contemporary choices.
Lindsay is more than deserving of this accolade. In her early career, she spent many years at Langan’s Brasserie in London. Opened in 1976 by Irish Entrepreneur Peter Langan in partnership with Sir Michael Caine and Michelin Star chef Richard Shepard C.B.E. Langan’s Brasserie is an iconic restaurant known for its traditional British cuisine. During her time there she delivered a classical restaurant experience, driven by intrinsic discipline and passion for fine cuisine. That experience has enabled her to excel in our market sector.
David Hunt, our Group Executive Chef, has been a member of The Master Chefs of Great Britain for over 20 years. We had the opportunity through David to nominate someone from within our business who we believe was deserving of joining this prestigious association. Lindsay now joins this elite group of UK chefs across the hospitality industry.
Membership of the Master Chefs of Great Britain is a major accomplishment. We are tremendously proud of Lindsay’s acceptance. It was also gratifying to learn that Inspire Catering is the only contract caterer in the UK to have two Master Chefs of Great Britain in our midst and supporting our customers on a day to day basis.
